An experience that started in interior design in Japan metamorphosed into a thirst for a multi-cultural viewpoint. 

By attending and graduating from the world renowned ART CENTER COLLEGE OF DESIGN located in Pasadena, California Zoo Studio and it’s Director Toshi Kawauchi flourished, completing a diverse set of projects in the Los Angeles area. Zoo was not only able to contribute a solid understanding of interior design, but was also able to utilize a new palette of American based conceptual design.

 A consortium of creatives from multi-cultural backgrounds and regions around the world are still contributing and involved with Zoo keeping the ideas unique and multi-facated. 

Zoo Studio which has now expanded even further, to Vietnam, a country thirsty for not only design that can communicate their experiences and culture but express the energy of a young, artistic community. 

Opportunities to design environments in this new frontier have given Zoo Studio an experience of an even broader range of projects, flavors and cultures to funnel into exciting new environments. 

Zoo Studio is the best of not only two worlds but many, it is the place to find originality with a global perspective. The worlds is getting smaller and the diversity of ideas is becoming more sought after than ever.
